We’re looking for an experienced Digital Planner to join a growing, award-winning digital media agency in the South West.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in digital media planning and strategy who enjoys turning client objectives and audience insights into effective, commercially focused media plans.

Working across a varied portfolio of clients, you’ll take the lead on developing integrated digital media strategies, identifying the right combination of channels, audiences and investment to deliver against client objectives.

The Role

As Digital Planner, you’ll work closely with Client Services, Strategy and specialist channel teams to develop insight-led digital media plans.

You’ll be responsible for understanding a client’s business, audience and objectives before translating these into clear media strategies and channel recommendations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing digital media strategies and plans across multiple clients
• Translating client briefs and business objectives into effective media recommendations
• Planning the appropriate media mix across channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, Video and other digital channels
• Using audience, market and performance data to inform planning decisions
• Developing audience and targeting strategies
• Managing media budgets and recommending how investment should be allocated across channels
• Working closely with specialist activation teams to ensure strategies are executed effectively
• Reviewing campaign performance and using insights to influence future planning
• Identifying opportunities to improve performance and maximise client investment
• Presenting media strategies, plans and recommendations to clients
• Keeping up to date with changes across the digital media landscape
• Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted strategic partner

About You

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience within a media, digital or performance marketing agency
• Strong digital media planning and strategy experience
• A good understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic and wider digital media channels
• Experience developing integrated, multi-channel media plans
• Strong understanding of audience planning, targeting and customer journeys
• Confidence working with data, insights and campaign performance
• Experience managing and allocating significant media budgets
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills
• A commercial mindset and understanding of how media activity contributes to wider business objectives
• The ability to work collaboratively with channel specialists and client service teams
