The Role
* Immediate start available
* Full-time, long-term opportunity in a welcoming Cardiff secondary school
* Competitive rate of pay - £16.11 per hour
* Prepare, organise, and maintain art materials, tools, and equipment for lessons
* Support teachers with practical classroom activities and demonstrations
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organised Art department environment
* Assist with mounting, displaying, and storing pupils' artwork
* Monitor stock levels and order materials when required
* Ensure health and safety procedures are followed within workshops and classrooms
* Support the preparation of exhibitions, displays, and school events
* Carry out basic maintenance of specialist art equipment and resources

Requirements
* Previous experience working within a school, college, art department, or creative environment
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of art materials, equipment, and classroom safety procedures
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is desirable or willingness to register
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting teaching and learning
