Basic Salary: £30,000 - £34,0000
OTE: £34,680 - £39,720

Benefits: Daily onsite payment (£18-£22 per day)
Monday to Friday
Hours: shift rotation (week 1 - 6:00am to 2:30pm & week 2 - 8:00am to 4:30pm)
Van & Fuel card provided (personal use within reason) 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Service and maintain a wide range of material handling, access equipment and powered access equipment.
• Carry out Thorough Examinations in line with relevant requirements.
• Identify parts required for repairs and liaise with the Parts Department to arrange them.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and determine the most appropriate repair or corrective action.
• Manage and prioritise your own workload and allocated jobs.
• Arrange suitable appointments with customers to minimise equipment downtime.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels on your service vehicle to support emergency repairs.
• Complete all work safely and in accordance with company method statements and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

What you’ll need:

• Experience as a Forklift engineer / plant fitter / powered access engineer  preffered
• Proven experience of diesel engines
• Strong experience with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• A professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Cap Licence & Ipaf preffered (if you don’t have this, they will train you up!)
• Full UK driving licence
