The Role

Are you an experienced Hair & Beauty professional looking to move into Further Education, or an established Lecturer looking for your next opportunity?

Aspire People are working in partnership with Further Education providers across South Wales to recruit experienced Lecturers in Hair & Beauty.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your industry knowledge and expertise to support the next generation of learners, helping students develop practical skills, achieve qualifications and progress into employment or further study.

Working within a Hair & Beauty department, you will:

* Deliver engaging Hair & Beauty teaching and learning
* Deliver practical salon-based sessions reflecting industry standards
* Demonstrate professional techniques and safe working practices
* Assess practical and theory-based work
* Support learners working towards vocational qualifications
* Develop learners' technical skills, confidence and employability
* Support learners with SEN/ALN or behavioural needs
* Monitor learner progress and achievement
* Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement

What We're Looking For

* Level 3 qualification in Hair, Beauty or a relevant discipline
* Strong industry experience within the Hair & Beauty sector
* Current knowledge of professional techniques and industry standards
* Experience supporting learners, apprentices or trainees is desirable
* Strong practical skills and ability to demonstrate techniques
* Teaching/training qualification is desirable
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Experience working with learners with SEN/ALN is beneficial
