Finance Analyst | Cardiff

We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join a successful Cardiff-based business - and this is a great opportunity for a finance professional who wants to play a key role in turning financial information into meaningful business insight.

Whether you're part-qualified (PQ) or fully qualified (FQ), we're interested in hearing from candidates with experience in a Management Accountant or financial reporting-focused role who can combine strong technical finance skills with excellent communication.

What will you be doing?

You'll sit at the heart of the finance function, helping to deliver accurate reporting and providing insight that supports commercial decision-making.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing and analysing regular management and financial reports
• Supporting month-end and reporting processes
• Analysing financial performance and highlighting key trends
• Providing meaningful insight rather than simply presenting the numbers
• Working closely with stakeholders across the wider business
• Communicating financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is commercially aware, analytical and confident communicating with people at all levels.

You'll ideally have:

• PQ or FQ status - ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Experience within a Management Accountant, Reporting Accountant or similar role
• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to interpret data and turn it into clear, actionable insight
• Strong communication skills - this is particularly important
• Confidence working with non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership
