Roller Shutter Doors - Package Manager - #2143892

A leading Tier 1 construction team is seeking an experienced Roller Shutter Doors Package Manager to take ownership of a specialist package on a major new indoor entertainment venue in Cardiff.

The development will deliver a 16,500-capacity venue within a major waterfront regeneration scheme, creating one of the city's most significant new destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the roller shutter door subcontractor through to completion
* Coordinate technical design, specifications, drawings and approvals
* Manage programme, procurement and delivery
* Coordinate interfaces with architectural, structural, MEP and fire packages
* Monitor subcontractor progress and performance
* Manage inspections, testing, commissioning and snagging
* Support commercial management, variations and change control
* Coordinate with Design, Commercial, Construction and Project Management teams
* Ensure compliance with quality, health & safety and programme requirements

About You:

* Experience managing roller shutter, specialist door or architectural door packages
* Previous Tier 1/main contractor experience is essential
* Experience on major commercial, industrial, retail, leisure, transport or infrastructure projects
* Strong technical coordination and subcontractor management skills
* Good programme and construction interface knowledge
* Strong commercial awareness
* CSCS and SMSTS, or equivalent

Experience with fire-rated, security-rated or electrically operated shutter and door systems would be advantageous.

Specialist subcontractor-only backgrounds will not be considered.
