Contracts Manager / Senior Project Manager

An established and growing specialist construction contractor is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager to join its senior leadership team.

Operating across a range of new build construction projects, this role will suit an ambitious individual looking to take ownership of multiple sites, lead project teams and play a key role in the continued growth of a successful business.

Applicants should have a strong background working for a main contractor and a proven track record delivering new build projects from inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Manage Site Managers and project delivery teams
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Monitor programme performance and resource requirements
• Support commercial teams with project reporting and cost control
• Drive quality standards across all projects
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
• Identify and manage project risks
• Contribute to business growth and operational improvements

Requirements

• Experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or Project Manager within the construction sector
• Main contractor background is essential
• Proven experience delivering new build projects
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Full UK driving licence
