Registered Clinical Manager - #2151043

Domus are looking for an experienced Registered Clinical Manager to lead a specialist Mental health, Learning disability, ABI & Complex dementia home nursing service in Cardiff.

The Role:

• This is an opportunity for an experienced care professional to take responsibility for the overall quality, leadership and performance of the service, while supporting and developing a dedicated team.
• You’ll play a key role in ensuring the people supported receive high-quality, person-centred care, while maintaining strong governance, compliance and operational standards.
• You’ll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes and ensure the service continues to develop and perform effectively.

About You:

• We’re looking for someone who is an experienced leader within the adult social care sector and who is passionate about delivering high standards of care.

You’ll ideally have:

• Current, valid NMC registration.
• Proven experience in a leadership or management role within social care.
• Experience leading teams supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health conditions or acquired brain injuries.
• Strong knowledge of social care legislation and regulatory requirements.
• A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness to work towards this.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people-management skills.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy, rotas, utilisation and commissioned hours.
• Experience completing audits, monitoring compliance and implementing effective action plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with good commercial awareness.
• Confidence using IT and management systems.
• A genuine commitment to improving the lives and outcomes of the people supported.

• As Registered Clinical Manager, you’ll have responsibility across three key areas:
• Quality – Ensuring high standards of care, effective governance, regulatory compliance and positive outcomes for the people supported.
• People – Leading, motivating and developing your team, creating a positive culture and ensuring colleagues have the support and development they need.
• Healthy Finances – Managing resources effectively and contributing to the sustainable financial performance of the service.
• You’ll also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with families, professionals, commissioners, regulators and other key stakeholders.
