The Role

We are looking for a highly organised, analytical, and proactive Planner & Scheduler to join our PHS Hygiene team.

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our Service Drivers operate on optimised routes, our customers receive outstanding service, and our operational performance consistently meets the highest standards.

Working closely with the Lead Scheduler and Operations Management teams, you will help drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and excellent customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Planner & Scheduler, you will:

• Create and maintain optimal schedules for Service Drivers to maximise productivity and resource utilisation.
• Analyse routes and driver feedback to continuously improve efficiency.
• Monitor unplanned work and KPI trends to ensure resources are used effectively.
• Maintain backlogs at appropriate levels to support operational performance.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure service delivery targets are achieved.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement effective scheduling solutions.
• Support operational planning activities to ensure excellent customer service.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced knowledge of scheduling systems and scheduling best practices.
• Strong IT skills and a passion for technology.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A customer-focused approach, taking ownership of scheduling delivery for assigned Operations Centres.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative working style.
• The ability to prioritise workloads and perform effectively under pressure.
• A resilient and proactive attitude with a positive, can-do approach.
• A valid UK driving licence (essential).
