Multi-Trade Carpenter - #2167230

We are currently working in partnership with a Local Authority based near Cardiff, who are recruiting for a multi-trade carpenter on a temporary six-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate of pay is £22.50 on CIS umbrella basis.

The ideal candidate will have a clean, full UK driving licence.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out void property repairs and Refurbishments
• Kitchen fitting and replacementwork
• Installing and upgrading bathrooms
• Hanging doors, fitting skirting, architraves and ironmongery
• Repairing and replacingflooring
• Basic plumbing associated with kitchen and bathroom works
• Carrying out patchplastering
• Fitting worktops and kitchen units
• Installing internal timber components and fixtures
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within timescale
• Working safely and complying with site procedures

Experience required:

• Experience required in social housing maintenance
• Experience required in voids refurbishment programmes
• Experience required in kitchen and bathroom installation
• Experience required in domestic carpentry and multi-skilled repairs
• Full UK driving licence

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday, 08:00-16:00 (15:30 finish Fridays)
