Location: The Vale Of Glamorgan (Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office)
Salary: £38,000 - £44,000
Contract: 12-18 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours: Full-Time, 36.5 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP (Ideally by mid-November to allow for a handover period)

Are you a commercially minded Management Accountant looking for a varied role that combines FP&A, business partnering and hands-on finance responsibilities?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation where you'll play a key role within a collaborative finance team. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis while also supporting wider finance operations when required.

This position would suit someone who enjoys combining commercial finance with practical, day-to-day accounting responsibilities and isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up when needed.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Variance analysis and meaningful financial commentary
• Financial modelling and business analysis
• Revenue reporting and performance analysis
• Supporting senior leaders with financial insight and decision-making
• Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Providing support acrosstransactional finance activities when required, including:
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • General finance operations

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or part-qualified
• Strong management accounting experience
• Experience producing budgets, forecasts and management accounts
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders
• A hands-on and flexible approach within a small team environment
• Experience within a SaaS, subscription-based or recurring revenue business

• Understanding ofSaaS metrics including:
  • ARR
  • Churn
  • Customer Retention
  • Revenue Analysis
• Previous business partnering experience
• Power BI
• Sage Intacct
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude within finance processes

Successful applicants are likely to have:

• SaaS or subscription-based business experience
• Ownership of budgets, forecasts or financial models
• Strong management accounting expertise
• A proactive and collaborative attitude
• The ability to start within the next few weeks and commit to a 12-18 month contract

This role is unlikely to be suitable for:

• Purely transactional finance candidates
• Individuals seeking a dedicated FP&A-only analytical role
• Candidates requiring line management responsibility, as there are no direct reports within this position
