Admin Assistant

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid Working)
Hours: 37 Hours per Week, Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: £13.96 per Hour
Contract: Until 31st March 2027

We are looking for an organised and proactive Admin Assistant to join a busy team supporting environmental projects and initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a relevant environmental qualification who is looking to gain valuable experience within the sector while developing their administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Logging, updating, and maintaining information across multiple systems
• Responding to internal and external queries in a professional and timely manner
• Taking minutes during meetings and producing concise summaries and actions
• Providing general administrative support to the wider team
• Ensuring records are accurate, up to date, and maintained in line with procedures
• Supporting the delivery of environmental programmes and projects

About You

• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records
• Confident handling enquiries and communicating with a range of stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications

A qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Ecology, Geography, or a related subject would be advantageous. This role would particularly suit a graduate or someone looking to build practical experience within the environmental sector.
