Senior AAT Accounts Assistant - #2170892

The successful candidate will become a key member of the finance team and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day accounting function while developing their career within the business.

• Supporting the production of monthly management accounts.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Performing bank, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting with month-end and year-end close activities.
• Processing journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Monitoring cash flow and supporting cash management activities.
• Investigating and resolving financial queries.
• Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity.
• Assisting with financial reporting and analysis.
• Supporting process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• AAT qualification or be actively studying towards completion.
• Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant, or similar finance role.
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles.
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the business.
