The Role
As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests to the required standards, while supporting the wider workshop with inspections, servicing and vehicle maintenance where required.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements.
·Completing vehicle inspections and health checks.
·Identifying defects and advising on any additional work required.
·Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance where required.
·Completing minor repairs where appropriate.
·Conducting road tests where required.
·Ensuring all MOT documentation and workshop records are completed accurately.
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.
·Working closely with the wider workshop team to ensure vehicles are completed efficiently.
 
About You
·Valid MOT Tester licence.
·Previous experience working as an MOT Tester within a professional workshop environment.
·Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent is desirable.
·Strong understanding of MOT testing standards and procedures.
·Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·Professional and reliable approach.
·Full UK driving licence.
