We're recruiting for a well-established financial services business in Cardiff that's looking for a friendly, positive and organised person to join its support team.

For this opportunity, the business is placing real importance on finding someone with the right personality and attitude. Someone who enjoys helping others, is easy to get along with and takes pride in doing a good job.

You don't need to have worked in financial services before. The business will provide the training you need, so having the right approach to people and a willingness to learn is far more important than previous industry experience.

We're working with an established and growing financial services group that supports a network of independent financial advisers and mortgage brokers across the UK.

The business has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality support to its members, with a friendly and experienced team that works closely together.

With continued growth, the business is looking to welcome another person to its Cardiff-based support team.

Internally, the business calls this position a Member Support Coordinator, but it's essentially a customer service role, helping financial advisers and other members of the network with their day-to-day questions and requests.

You'll be one of the people they turn to when they need assistance, so being friendly, approachable and willing to help is a really important part of the role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Answering questions and helping members with their day-to-day needs
• Speaking with financial advisers, product providers and other businesses
• Supporting new members as they join the network
• Helping with administrative and operational tasks
• Working with colleagues to resolve queries and find solutions
• Building good relationships with members and ensuring they receive a helpful, reliable service

You'll be working alongside an experienced team who will help you learn the business, understand its processes and develop your knowledge.

More than anything, the business wants someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working with people and is happy to get stuck in.

Ideally, you'll be someone who:

• Is friendly, approachable and positive
• Enjoys speaking with people and helping them
• Is comfortable communicating over the phone and by email
• Is organised and pays attention to detail
• Can write clear, professional emails
• Takes responsibility and follows things through
• Has a good work ethic and is happy to help colleagues
• Is comfortable using everyday computer systems, including Word and Excel
• Is willing to learn new things and develop their skills

You don't need to have worked within an IFA network or financial services business before. The business has its own systems and ways of working, so everyone joining will have things to learn.
