Henry Blue is working with a leading Further Education College seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Plumbing Tutor / Lecturer to join their Construction department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your industry expertise, inspire the next generation of plumbers and help students develop the practical skills needed for a successful career in the trade.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Plumbing lessons to students across Levels 1–3.

• Support learners in developing their skills in plumbing installation, maintenance and industry practices.

• Plan, prepare and assess learning activities in line with curriculum requirements.

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.

• Support students in achieving their qualifications and progressing into employment or apprenticeships.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or a related discipline.

• Relevant industry experience within the Plumbing sector.

• Strong communication skills and a passion for developing others.

• A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

• Previous teaching or training experience is advantageous, although experienced tradespeople looking to transition into education are encouraged to apply.
