We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our established workshop team and benefit from excellent earning potential, manufacturer training and long-term career development. This Vehicle Technician role offers a supportive working environment within a multi-award-winning dealer group operating across South Wales for over 60 years.

• Salary of £30,000–£36,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Guaranteed team-based bonus of £300 per month.
• Overtime paid at time and a half.
• 22 days’ annual leave, plus bank holidays and your birthday off.

• Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with one in four or five Saturday mornings from 08:30–12:30, paid at time and a half.

Duties:

• As a Vehicle Technician, carry out servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis to manufacturer and company standards.
• Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance to the Workshop Controller.
• Complete all work efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality control.
• Follow all company procedures and contribute positively within a large, supportive workshop team.
• An MOT Tester licence would be advantageous but is not essential.

Requirements:

• Qualified to IMI or NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Previous main dealership experience is essential; broader dealership experience would also be beneficial.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• The successful Vehicle Technician will be organised, methodical and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• The successful Vehicle Technician must be capable of working independently while contributing effectively to a team.
