We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to carry out Heavy maintenance on a fleet of Rail vehicles in Cardiff on a 12 month Contract basis.
This role has a rate of £19.56 ph PAYE or £25.98 Umb - 36 hours a week (with possible overtime), Monday to Friday Days Earlies and Lates on a rotation!!
The ideal individuals will have experience in some form of heavy Engineering or a relatable industry such as Vehicle/Aircraft maintenance, heavy engineering (REME, HGV, PSV etc) but all background industries will be considered

Your Tasks
- Carry out maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and procedures
- Working on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace components as part of the overhaul.
Your Profile
Essential:
- Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum.
- Some Proven experience, involvement and understanding of vehicle maintenance or overhaul/refurbishment activities
