If you've got great payroll experience but are starting to feel like you've learnt everything your current role can teach you, this one is worth a look.
I'm working confidentially with an international manufacturing organisation looking for somebody to strengthen its payroll team. You'll be getting involved with payroll across both the UK and US as well as a couple of European countries, so previous international payroll experience will be very useful; US payroll experience in particular will put you in a strong position.But this isn't just about ticking technical boxes.I'm looking for somebody with initiative.Someone who spots that something doesn't look right and investigates it. Someone who wants to understand why rather than just follow a process. And someone ambitious enough to want their role to become bigger as their knowledge and confidence grow.

The role

You'll get involved in:

• UK and international payroll processing
• US payroll
• Payroll checking and validation
• Starters, leavers and employee changes
• Payroll queries and problem-solving
• Reconciliations and reporting
• Working with stakeholders across the wider business
• Improving processes and challenging inefficient ways of working

You could currently be a Payroll Officer, Payroll Specialist, Senior Payroll Administrator or International Payroll Administrator. You don't need to arrive knowing absolutely everything. What matters is that you already have good payroll foundations, some international exposure and the curiosity and initiative to learn the rest.

Location & flexibility

The role pays £35-40,000 and offers three days working from home.For somebody based in Cardiff or South Wales, the office pattern can be:2 days in Cardiff & 3 days working from home (with occasional travel to a regional location)
