Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on experience

About the position of Proposition Delivery Manager:

We are working with a specialist lending business, the role will lead the development and continuous improvement of the Commercial proposition, taking initiatives from initial discovery and opportunity assessment through to delivery, implementation and benefits realisation. We are looking for an experienced project or change delivery professional with a track record of delivering business change, shaping opportunities and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, using customer, broker and market insight to identify improvements and translate these into practical, commercially viable solutions. Experience in financial services or specialist lending would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities for the position of Proposition Delivery Manager:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Commercial initiatives, from initial discovery and business case development through to implementation and benefits realisation.
• Identify opportunities to improve the Commercial proposition and customer and broker journeys, using market, competitor and customer insight.
• Assess opportunities, define requirements and develop practical recommendations and commercially viable solutions.
• Develop and manage delivery plans, ensuring scope, milestones, resources, budgets, risks and dependencies are effectively controlled.
• Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to shape priorities, influence decisions and drive delivery.
• Take a hands-on approach to business analysis, process mapping, requirements gathering and production of delivery documentation where required.
• Provide clear progress updates, highlight risks and challenges, and drive timely resolution of delivery issues.
• Ensure changes are successfully implemented and embedded within the Commercial business, with appropriate business readiness and benefits tracking.
• Challenge existing processes and ways of working, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and greater efficiency.

Experience required for the position of Proposition Delivery Manager:

• Proven experience leading and delivering end-to-end projects or business change initiatives, from discovery and planning through to implementation and benefits realisation.
• Experience identifying and shaping business improvement opportunities, including discovery, process mapping, requirements gathering and developing business cases.
• Experience managing project delivery plans, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
• Demonstrable experience engaging, influencing and managing senior stakeholders and working collaboratively across multiple business functions.
• Experience producing high-quality project documentation, delivery plans, governance updates and implementation and readiness materials.
• A track record of delivering change in a complex or resource-constrained environment, taking a pragmatic and hands-on approach.
• Financial services experience would be advantageous, ideally within mortgages, commercial finance or specialist lending, but is not essential.
