Parts Advisor - #2188113

We are seeking an experienced Parts Advisor to join our multi-site franchised approved car dealership in Cardiff. Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will become part of a friendly, professional team within a busy automotive parts environment.

• Salary up to £28,000 basic, with an OTE of approximately £31,600 per annum.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with one in three Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm, paid at time and a half.

Duties of a Parts Advisor:

• As a Parts Advisor, receive, accurately identify, pick and promptly dispatch all parts orders.
• Accurately identify and process customer parts requirements.
• Deliver courteous and professional customer service in a busy trade parts sales environment.
• Support sales growth through a target-driven and commercially focused approach.
• Ensure all relevant company policies and procedures are followed consistently.
• Work closely with the Aftersales Manager and wider dealership team.

Requirements:

• The successful Parts Advisor will have recent or current automotive vehicle parts experience.
• Dealership parts experience is preferred, although individuals from a motor factor background are also encouraged to apply.
• IT literacy, with the ability to use dealer management systems such as Kerridge or ADP and electronic parts catalogues.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Strong customer service and sales skills, combined with a friendly and confident manner.
• To succeed as a Parts Advisor, you should live within an easily commutable distance of Cardiff.
