Academics is currently recruiting ALN LSAs for a number of opportunities across mainstream primary schools in Cardiff. We work with a range of local schools who require experienced support staff to work on a 1:1 basis or within Specialist Resource Base (SRB) classrooms, supporting pupils with a variety of needs.

Whether you have experience supporting individual pupils or working within specialist classroom environments, we have a range of opportunities where you can make a real difference to children's education and development.

• Providing tailored 1:1 support to pupils with ALN.

• Supporting pupils within SRB classrooms in mainstream primary schools.

• Working with children with a variety of additional learning needs.

• Helping pupils access the curriculum and engage with classroom activities.

• Supporting social, emotional and behavioural development.

• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive learning experiences.

• Working closely with teachers and other support staff to meet individual pupil needs.

• Previous experience supporting pupils with ALN is essential.

• Experience working as an LSA, Teaching Assistant or within a specialist setting.

• A patient, caring and adaptable approach.

• Confidence supporting children with a range of additional needs.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

• £95 per day, paid weekly.

• Potential pay increases depending on the school's agreed rate, your qualifications and experience.

• Enhanced DBS certificate required.

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) required.

• A number of ALN opportunities across Cardiff primary schools.
