BUUK Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Water Quality Officer to assist the Water Compliance Team Leader in meeting regulatory obligations. This full time, permanent position is based at our office in Cardiff. This position is currently working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.


We are ideally looking for someone with a degree in a technical discipline who has exceptional record keeping, organisation and communication skills. It would be beneficial if you understand the current legislation, regulatory and operational requirements surrounding water quality, however this is not essential. Training on our systems and the company will be provided.

Responsibilities will include -



  • Contribute to our regulatory drinking water safety plan

  • Monitor, track and report water quality data

  • Record water sampling shortfalls

  • Support in the delivery of regulatory reporting

  • Assess sampling paperwork and liaise with third parties

  • Raise invoices and purchase orders

  • Participate in an on-call rota, responding to out of hours incidents
