We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Lead to join our Consulting business to manage the Talent Acquisition team across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

About The Opportunity

  • Take ownership of and drive the UK Talent Acquisition strategy for the Consulting business, ensuring alignment with broader HR and organisational objectives.
  • Design and implement scalable, future-ready recruitment frameworks that uphold consistency, compliance, and quality across all hiring activities.
  • Develop and enhance a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) that engages key talent segments and strengthens the organisation’s market position.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to anticipate hiring needs and strategically build a strong talent pipeline.
  • Lead, mentor, and empower a team of Talent Acquisition professionals, fostering high performance and a unified candidate experience.
  • Define and refine sourcing strategies to establish robust talent pools for key roles.
  • Develop effective assessment tools tailored to various organisational levels.
  • Oversee recruitment marketing and employer branding efforts, working closely with internal communications and marketing teams.
  • Continuously assess and enhance recruitment processes and tools to improve efficiency, inclusivity, and the overall candidate experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on talent attraction, providing market insights, trends, and benchmarking data.
  • Manage the Talent Acquisition budget, determining in-house versus outsourced strategies, and overseeing relationships with recruitment agencies and external providers.
  • Establish and nurture strong partnerships with third-party recruitment providers.

About You

  • A degree qualification, ideally complemented by professional HR/Talent certifications (CIPD Level 7 or equivalent preferred).
  • Proven expertise in leading Talent Acquisition functions ideally from an engineering or professional services background.
  • Experience in high-demand environments with a strong focus on attracting top-tier talent.
  • A solid track record of designing and executing full-cycle TA strategies that directly impact business success.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capabilities, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels.
  • Expertise in developing hiring tools that identify and nurture high-potential talent.
  • Deep knowledge of recruitment process optimisation
  • A passion for employer branding and storytelling, bringing the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to life.
  • High data fluency, leveraging insights to drive performance improvements and enhance candidate experience.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with external partners to strengthen talent acquisition efforts.
  • A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, pragmatic leadership approach.
  • A successful track record in project and change management, including leading TA transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition process.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiters.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs.
  • Maintain a strong employer brand and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Track and analyse key recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
