Graduate Hydrology Consultant - #1657267

My client, a specialist UK based Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Graduate Consultant to join a supportive team based in central Cardiff for a fixed term contract.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background including a MSc and/or BSc in Hydrology, Geography, Environmental Modelling or Hydraulic Modelling and ideally have a driving licence. You will be expected to have a keen interest in hydrology, hydrometry, GIS, hydraulic modelling and water quality.

Candidates are required to have a strong background in numeracy (preferably a strong A level or GCSE in Mathematics or Science) and an interest in data sampling and analysis.

As a Graduate Consultant you will join a specialist flood risk team in Cardiff for a fixed term contract of 6 to 9 months; :Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications

:Strategic Flood Risk Assessment for developers.

:Flood Estimation using ReFH and Winfap

:Rainfall Analysis,

:Hydrology, Hydrogeological and Environmental Chapters for EIAs.

:Water Quality Assessments.

:GIS Mapping.

:Drainage Strategies and SAB Applications.

:Site visits for water monitoring, hydrometry and peat surveys.
