About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for a talented and detail-oriented Project Architect to join a dynamic architectural team. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, ensuring exceptional design quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design process across a range of projects, aligning with client requirements and project goals.

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle in line with RIBA work stages—from initial briefing and feasibility to detailed design, technical documentation, and delivery.

• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to develop innovative and practical design solutions.

• Prepare and present design proposals using a variety of media, including sketches, drawings, and 3D models.

• Oversee the production of technical drawings and documentation necessary for planning and building regulation approvals.

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure design intent is met, and resolve on-site issues as needed.

• Maintain high attention to detail, ensuring deliverables meet quality and industry standards.

• Stay informed on current architectural trends, technologies, and sustainable practices.

• Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, promoting a collaborative studio environment.

Qualifications

• RIBA Part 3 qualified (or equivalent), with a strong design portfolio showcasing completed projects.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architectural practice with a focus on project delivery.

• Proficient in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Strong understanding of UK building regulations, planning policies, and construction methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
