Service Care Solutions are working alongside national Financial Advisory firm who are looking for a motivated and talented Payroll and HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of this opportunity below.
Role: Payroll and HR Officer.
Salary: £30,000 per year (+company benefits).
Location: Cardiff.
Working: Hybrid/Remote.
Role Overview:
- Minimum 12 months’ payroll bureau experience or handling multiple payrolls simultaneously
- End-to-end payroll processing experience
- Able to work independently with high confidentiality
- Confident handling payroll queries from employees, pensioners, and team members
- Knowledge of auto-enrolment, salary sacrifice, and pension scheme rules
- Capable of manual tax calculations and understanding tax codes
- Experience processing court orders, childcare, and pension sharing orders
- Proficient in minimum wage compliance
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong communication via phone and email
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience with Sage, Profund (P3), Xero, or similar systems (preferred)
- CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain)
- Experience onboarding new payroll clients.
