Role Overview
We are seeking experienced testers to join our mortgages team. As a Mortgages Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our software solutions. You will develop and maintain high-quality test artefacts, execute comprehensive test scopes, and provide expert testing insights to enhance our team and organization.

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced testers to join our mortgages team. As a Mortgages Test Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our software solutions. You will develop and maintain high-quality test artefacts, execute comprehensive test scopes, and provide expert testing insights to enhance our team and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard Admiral Money and our customers against defects and testing-related risks.
- Collaborate with the wider test team, Admiral stakeholders, and external suppliers to ensure delivered functionality meets business needs.
- Engage in requirements refinement to identify and resolve incorrect statements gaps, and ambiguities.
- Create and maintain high-quality test artefacts for functional, integration, and regression testing of web and desktop applications.
- Execute tests for scheduled releases and priority production hot fixes.
- Identify and set up test data, ensuring test coverage accounts for both pipeline and new business impacts.
- Prioritize test scope and execute tests, reporting defects in line with agreed ways of working.
- Investigate and recreate defects, contributing to defect triage calls.
- Apply appropriate testing techniques, patterns, tools, and technologies to deliver functionality aligned with business goals.
- Provide timely and accurate progress updates to the test manager and other relevant parties.
- Expertise in Mortgages Originations and related priority areas for testing.
- Ability to analyze complex requirements and determine suitable test coverage.
- Validate financial calculations including affordability, LTVs, APRCs, and payment schedules.
- Experience testing complex applications with multiple third-party APIs.
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies and ability to select appropriate techniques.
- Proficiency in API testing, including creation and submission of requests and analysis of responses.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and determined team player.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage context switching and changing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, simplifying testing and defect information for non-testers.
- Knowledge and experience with second charge mortgages.
- Detailed understanding of mortgage servicing (both account and customer).
- Experience with Xray test management tool (JIRA Plug-In) and Postman for API testing.
- Ability to create and maintain automated tests using Playwright.
- Testing of Amazon Connect or other cloud contact center solutions.
- Experience with Confluence for document creation and maintenance.
- Cross-browser/device testing using Browserstack or similar tools.
- Accessibility testing of web applications.
- Mobile testing using real devices and emulators/simulators.
- Knowledge of Phoebus mortgage servicing system workflows, controls, and financials.
