Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Reservations Agent to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Reservations Agent, you will play a crucial role in maximizing hotel revenue and guest satisfaction by efficiently handling reservations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our customer service operations, contributing to our hotel's success.



  1. Greet guests over the phone in a friendly and professional manner.

  2. Record reservation details accurately, including group and transient business codes.

  3. Inform other departments of VIP arrivals and special requests.

  4. Process deposit information and handle special billing instructions.

  5. Maintain accurate inventory control to maximize occupancy.

  6. Use yield management techniques to achieve optimal occupancy and rates.

  7. Employ up-selling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

  8. Handle special requests and pre-block VIP accommodations appropriately.

  9. Keep supervisors informed of new group bookings.

  10. Utilize guest history files to provide personalized service.

  11. Promote hotel restaurants and services to maximize satisfaction and revenue.

  12. Handle incoming correspondence, faxes, and reservation messages promptly.

  13. Adhere to all laws, standards, and guidelines, maintaining guest privacy.

  14. Follow emergency procedures to ensure safety and security.

  15. Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

  16. Assist colleagues with related tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • Saudi National (this position is open to Saudi citizens only).

  • Little to no work experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.

  • Basic English language skills.

  • A strong passion for hospitality.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Team player with a collaborative attitude.

  • Flexible schedule based on departmental needs.

  • Focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous under pressure.

  • Knowledge of reservation systems (training provided).

  • Basic computer skills.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Problem-solving skills and quick thinking.

  • Excellent multitasking abilities.

  • Willingness to learn and grow.

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
