Job Description
Your knowledge of the hotel and technical skill in responding to Guest calls demonstrate your professionalism. As a Reservation Coordinator, effective and engaging communication is essential when interacting with colleagues and Guests.
Reporting to the Director of Reservations, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing professional, friendly, and engaging service
- Booking and entering reservations using Opera Central Reservations System and Property Management System
- Maximizing revenue through up-selling and recommending hotel facilities
- Updating reservations for a smooth check-in and check-out
- Supporting the Sales & Marketing team
- Meeting and exceeding revenue goals
- Responding promptly to reservation calls and emails
- Following up with clients via Lead System in TRACK
- Handling faxes, voice messages, and external guest communication
- Having knowledge of departments like Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering
- Assisting guests with hotel facilities information
- Adhering to policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous reservation sales experience is a plus
- Outstanding guest service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Responsible and reliable
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Calm and courteous attitude focused on guest needs
Physical Aspects of Position
- Frequent sitting during shifts
- Occasional standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
