Regulatory Conduct MI Manager


Excellent opportunity to join our Compliance team as a Regulatory Conduct MI Manager! 


We are looking for someone who excels in analysing regulatory and customer outcomes data. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying trends in conduct and regulatory data MI, pinpointing regulatory risks, and providing second-line challenge, oversight, and support to the business. 


Job Purpose


As a Regulatory Conduct M.I. Manager, you will support the Head of Compliance, Advice and Monitoring teams to identify appropriate trends and analysis to where conduct/customer and regulatory risk appears and requires challenge and commentary. You will support the Head of Compliance in preparing for senior governance committees with appropriate insight and trends to where regulatory risk lies through M.I. and ensure this is documented and reported upwards accordingly. Becoming a key member in the compliance team you oversee all regulatory standing data reporting reviews before submission providing sign off where required. You will need to work closely with the key business areas to obtain, review and challenge their M.I. from a second line perspective ensuring reported papers and M.I. has a 2nd line view on them.


Main Duties




  • Lead and manage all regulatory standing data reporting (e.g. RegData, FCA data requests), ensuring timely and accurate submissions.




  • Deliver second-line insight and assurance on FCA submissions (RMAR, GIVM, GIPP, REP008), providing expert analysis, challenge, and sign-off.




  • Drive robust oversight of business conduct, product, pricing, and Consumer Duty MI, offering second-line challenge and escalation where needed.




  • Produce impactful trend analysis and assurance reporting for senior governance via the Senior Regulatory Advice Manager and Head of Compliance.




  • Collaborate closely with the Advice team to interpret key regulatory and customer data trends, empowering them to challenge stakeholders effectively.




  • Leverage expertise from the Regulatory Technical Standards Manager to stay aligned with FCA priorities and emerging regulatory focus areas.




Skills and Experience we are looking for




  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive, self-managed approach to identifying trends via MI and data to support senior stakeholders.




  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and collaboration.




  • Proven experience in regulatory environments, particularly insurance.




  • Confident, objective, and timely decision-maker.




  • Degree-educated or equivalent industry experience.




  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.




  • Effective influencer with a strong team-oriented mindset.
