Job Description
Are you passionate about precision, process improvement, and delivering high-quality client reporting? We’re looking for a Reporting & Valuations Analyst to join our growing team in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new function supporting both UK and international clients. What you’ll be doing:
- Producing and reconciling monthly NAVs and client reports for a range of fund structures
- Preparing and reviewing valuations to meet accuracy and timeliness standards
- Responding to client and audit queries with professionalism and clarity
- Managing the end-to-end delivery of daily, weekly, and quarterly client deliverables
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve reporting issues
- Supporting the production of institutional investor reports and management information
- Promoting process improvements and control enhancements across reporting functions
- Contributing to a flexible and knowledgeable team environment
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience in investment management, fund accounting, or financial reporting
- Strong understanding of financial instruments including derivatives and fixed income
- Ability to interpret complex data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in stakeholder engagement
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as UCITS, MiFID II, and PPF
- Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, or Power BI
- A degree in finance, economics, or a related field (professional qualifications a plus)
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
