Trainee Assessor in Health and Social Care / Hybrid
Salary: £24,638 - £26,780
Location: Remote in North Wales (You will be required to visit learners in this area)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 09:00am to 16:30pm

You will be working for a specialist Training provider who plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our business. They will train you towards and assessors qualification and foster a culture where each voice is heard, and every contribution is valued
About the role:
As a Trainee Assessor you will provide end to end structured support to apprenticeship learners on programme
You will be trained and guided to ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to successfully progress in their Health and Social Care qualification
The apprenticeship program provides learners with hands-on training and theoretical knowledge in Health and Social Care, equipping them with essential skills for a successful career in the industry

Your requirements:
Ensure the highest training standards by adapting to learner needs
Cover a regional area and travel to learners' workplaces for assessments
Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways
Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements
Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring compliance with audit requirements
Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets
Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed
Keep detailed records of clients' achievements to meet the performance criteria established by relevant awarding bodies
What are we looking for?
Willing to work towards an Assessors qualification
Relevant training will be provided for a teaching qualifications (e.g., A1 Assessor award)
An understanding Experience in an apprenticeship setting
Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery
Full driving license and access to a vehicle
Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration
Welsh speaking is desirable
