Our Entrepreneurial and SME Services team works with fast growth, dynamic businesses, with clients ranging from entrepreneurial, early-stage SMEs through to well-known brands. With this team you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting companies, and we'll make sure you have the time, and support, to build long-lasting relationships with clients ensuring we can support their businesses s as they grow. Our Entrepreneurial and SME services team provides real variety amongst its client base. Our clients want more than just compliance. They will look to you to provide genuine insight, recommendations and added value, both through the audit process, and through the manner in which you liaise with other service lines, working closely with them to provide a holistic, joined up approach to o client service. This role will cover South Wales and South West England and will be part of the local commercial audit practice, as well as the national Entrepreneurial and SME Services team. • Be responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients
• Solve complex technical matters for our clients, and project manage client work
• Oversee and develop your team to the highest standard
• Build and maintain strong working relationship with your team and our clients
• Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities through training and pitching new projects
  
  

Knowing you're right for us

• Experience of managing audits of large companies in addition to dealing with complex technical matters
• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102
• Project management experience
• Experience of IFRS and auditing listed companies would be beneficial
• Extensive experience of using audit software and Microsoft packages

A look into the role As an Audit Manager within our Entrepreneurial and SME Services service line, you will: Constantly strive to push yourself, and the business, further, knowing you're supported through every stage Joining us as an Audit Manager, the minimum criteria you'll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification experience, and to be confident managing a large portfolio of audit clients. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.
