French Teacher (Cardiff) - #1718309

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective French language lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, and potentially Key Stage 5, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality French lessons in line with the national curriculum.


• Use a variety of teaching techniques to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.


• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages language development.


• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.


• Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives.


• Support students with their academic and personal development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Specialism or strong experience in teaching French.


• Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting.


• Excellent classroom management skills.


• Strong communication and organisational abilities.


• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).


• Right to work in the UK.
