We are looking for a commercially astute and forward-thinking Strategic Sourcing/Supplier Account Manager to help shape the future of supplier partnerships and sourcing strategy at Unite. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development of efficient, sustainable, and value-driven supplier frameworks that support our broader business vision of Towards The Never Before. By combining market insight with process optimisation and strong stakeholder collaboration, you will ensure our sourcing strategies are both commercially robust and ethically sound. Your role


  1. Lead sourcing strategy: Design and implement sourcing and commercial development plans that align with business goals and long-term strategic objectives.


  2. Optimise supplier partnerships: Identify, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate trading terms to ensure reliability, cost-efficiency, and long-term performance.


  3. Drive operational excellence: Use data and analytics to monitor supplier performance, assess risk, and lead contract renewals, compliance, and reporting processes.


  4. Champion sustainable sourcing: Promote supplier practices that support sustainability, ethical standards, and responsible procurement in line with company values.


  5. Collaborate to align: Work cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other business units to ensure sourcing decisions support organisational priorities and enable innovation.


  6. Strategic mindset with sharp analysis: You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with the ability to assess market trends and apply commercial reasoning to sourcing decisions.


  7. Supplier relationship expertise: You know how to build productive partnerships, conduct effective negotiations, and manage supplier performance with confidence.


  8. Ethical and sustainability focus: You understand the importance of environmental and ethical compliance in sourcing and are proactive in driving responsible practices.


  9. Effective communicator and team player: You collaborate easily across departments and communicate complex ideas with clarity, building alignment across functions.


  10. Adaptable and improvement-driven: You thrive in a dynamic environment and continuously seek ways to improve sourcing efficiency, processes, and outcomes.
