Financial Accountant
Outskirts of Cardiff
Salary of circa £45,000 per annum for the successful candidate
Mrwell Talent Solutions is delighted to be partnering with a South Wales based organisation in their search for a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their dynamic and rapidly growing company.The Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the organisations financial accounting and planning, budgeting process and project management functions
Working alongside the Financial Controller and with your finance colleagues, the successful candidate will conduct a variety of daily accounting operations as well as producing and reviewing monthly P&L reports and quarterly VAT returns
Key responsibilities will include:
Preparation and review of pension schemes reports and accounts
Prepare for audit and liaise with auditors ensuring any issues are resolved ready for filing within required deadline
Delegation and reviewing of scheme cashflow reports
Assist in the production and communication of relevant information for financial. reporting to the executive committee and Partners, highlighting concerns and key issues
Assist financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
Assisting with the timely and accurate review of payrolls
A key part of the role is to providing support to more junior members of the team, checking their work when required
The ideal candidate needs to be a newly qualified chartered accountant
My client is looking for candidates with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and an aptitude for delivering over and above what is expected. You will also need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and be a good team player
