Financial Accountant (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

We are working with a highly successful and rapidly growing business based in the heart of Cardiff to recruit a Financial Accountant on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract. Due to continued growth and an increased workload, this is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced organisation where you can make an immediate impact.

There is strong potential for the contract to be extended, making this an ideal opportunity for an ambitious part-qualified or qualified accountant seeking exposure to a dynamic and evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs

• Delivering accurate financial analysis and insight to support decision-making

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting processes

• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring robust financial controls

• Partnering with key stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and challenge

• Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency

• Supporting ongoing projects linked to business growth and transformation

About You:

• Part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

• Previous experience within a Financial Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance role

• Strong financial reporting and analytical skills

• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities

• Ability to work independently and hit the ground running

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Available to start immediately or at short notice
