Cleaner - IT Equipment - #2093386

Looking for someone that enjoys cleaning to be trained to safely clean returned IT equipment, both the external and internal, before it goes for repair or into the warehouse.

Must be comfortable using basic hand tools to disassemble and open devices.

This role is office based in Pentwyn, Cardiff. There is free parking on site and the office is well served by public transport.

This is a full time PAYE permanent position 37.5 hours per week Mon - Fri 9-17:30.

Salary £25000.

Main Tasks and Objectives

• Internal and external clean of multiple models of EPOS and non-EPOS equipment.
• Distribution and collection of units to and from engineer locations.
• Distribution of spare components to engineer locations.
• Pre-emptive highlighting of component shortages and requirements to component controller.
• Final physical quality check of repaired unit before passing to good stock.
• Accurate logging of work completed and unit movements on the company’s system.
• Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
• Adhere to housekeeping and health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment is maintained for all employees within the department.
