Programme Manager Contract - Paying up to £700 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in South Wales, Hybrid Working, To Start ASAP


Your new role

We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to lead the delivery of a significant technology and business transformation programme.

The successful candidate will be a strong, hands-on Programme Manager who can take ownership of complex delivery, coordinate multiple workstreams and suppliers, and manage stakeholders across technology and the wider business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex transformation programme
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams, ensuring they remain aligned to overall programme objectives
• Own programme plans, governance, RAID management, dependencies, budgets and reporting
• Coordinate internal teams, third-party suppliers and stakeholders
• Provide clear programme level reporting and visibility of progress, risks and decisions
• Drive delivery across both technical and business change workstreams
• Ensure dependencies between technology, data, processes and operational teams are effectively managed
• Establish strong governance while maintaining a pragmatic, delivery focused approach

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong track record as a Programme Manager delivering large, complex transformation programmes
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, workstreams and suppliers
• Strong programme governance, planning, risk and dependency management experience
• Comfortable operating across both technology and business facing environments
• Experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure or another asset-intensive environment would be highly beneficial
• GIS / geospatial transformation experience is highly desirable
• Experience delivering programmes involving platforms such as Esri ArcGIS would be advantageous
• Strong commercial awareness and experience managing third party delivery partners
