School Administrator Needed - Cardiff

Aspire People are looking for a highly organised and IT-proficient School Administrator to support schools across Cardiff.

We're particularly interested in candidates with strong IT and data skills who are confident using Excel, managing databases and working with large amounts of information.

Previous experience working in a school is essential - this does not have to have been in an admin role. We are interested in people who have worked in schools in other capacities and have excellent transferable IT, data and administrative skills.

The Role

You may be responsible for:

Completing data entry and maintaining accurate school records
Using Microsoft Excel to manage and analyse information
Updating databases, spreadsheets and school systems
Supporting the school office with general administration
Managing correspondence, records and documentation
Inputting and maintaining student and staff information
Supporting attendance, admissions and other school administration
Working with staff across the school to ensure information is accurate and up to date
Using a range of IT systems and software confidently

We're Looking For
Previous experience working within a school environment is essential - this does not need to have been in an admin capacity
Excellent IT skills and confidence learning new systems
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident working with databases, spreadsheets and digital systems
Someone with particularly strong technical skills - IT Technician-level knowledge would be highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service
