Assistant Store Manager | Premium Retail | Cardiff | Up to £35,000 plus bonus and commission

We're on the hunt for a passionate, commercially driven and hands on Manager to lead a fantastic team in Cardiff.

As Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of the store, leading by example, inspiring and motivating your team, driving strong sales results, and making each day a success.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the daily running of the store, maintaining high standards across presentation, merchandising and operations.
• Lead by example on the shop floor, delivering a personalised customer experience and supporting the team.
• Drive sales, KPIs and profitability through strong leadership, coaching and commercial focus.
• Build lasting client relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat business.
• Oversee stock, deliveries and inventory to ensure strong availability and efficient operations.
• Use store performance data to identify opportunities and maximise results.
• Manage budgets, expenses and stock loss with a commercially focused approach.
• Ensure company policies, procedures and health and safety standards are consistently followed.
• Motivate, develop and support the team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
• Work closely with the wider management team, providing support and cover when required.

What We're Looking For

• Experienced retail manager with a strong record of delivering sales results, ideally within a premium brand.
• Commercially focused, with a strong understanding of KPIs, budgets, profitability and what drives store performance.
• Confident leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team while leading by example on the shop floor.
• Hands-on, organised and operationally strong, with experience of opening and closing a standalone store.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional, personalised customer experiences and building lasting relationships.
• Flexible and willing to support other local stores when required.
• A collaborative team player who is happy to provide support and cover across the wider management team.
